Australia Vs India Test Series is going on in Australia and the 3rd Test Match is scheduled to play in Sydney between 7 January 2021 to 11 January 2021. Before going to catch on to the current match we need to know about previous matches. In the 1st Test match, we saw that India loses the 1st match very badly and also a bad record listed in India Cricket List. India loses all the wickets on the score of 36 in the second inning.

 

But India did comeback and won the 2nd Test match very easily. Somewhere Australian Team could not survive in the match what’s expected from the previous match against India. Australia’s batting order was a flop.

Australia Vs India Day 1

Day 1 match half of the match was almost washed out by rain. Australia scored 166 runs by losing two wickets. Australia’s first wicket was David warner who only could face 8 balls and caught out by Pujara on Siraj’s ball. 2nd wicket fall of Australia came in Will Pucovski who gave a good start to Australia and scored 62 runs in 110 balls. Pucovski was lbw by Saini in 34.3 over.

End of the day Australia scored 166 runs in 55 overs by losing 2 wickets where Team India could only take 2 wickets. Navdeep Saini took his 1st Maiden wicket in this match.

Australia Vs India Day 2

Day 2 came out with a lot of runs and wickets, Australia lost their 3rd wicket of Marnus Labuschagne. Marnus Labuschagne also played well and scored a total of 91 runs in 196 balls. Matthew Wade could not do well for team Australia and he just returned to Pavillion at 16 the ball. he scored a total of 13 runs. Australia’s 5the wicket Cameron Green took the place of Matthew but he was lbw by Jasprit Bumrah on 0 runs in 21 balls. Team Australia batsman could not do better and 6th wicket Tim Paine Bowled by Jasprit Bumrah. Pat Cummins bowled by Jadeja at the score of 0 runs, Mitchel Starc helped the team in a difficult situation and scored 24 runs in 30 balls.

Team Australia was almost finished on the score of 315 runs but Steve Smit was still standing ahead of the stump by scoring a century. Australi’s 9th wicket Nathan Lyon was a duck. Australia loses his last wicket by run out and this time Steve Smith was run out by Jadeja’s direct hit. Steve Smith scored 131 runs in 226 balls.

Australia’s total score of 1st inning was 338 in 106 overs.

Other side Indian bowlers did well Ravindra Jadeja took 4 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah and Navdeep Saini took 2 wickets respectively. Mohammad Siraj could take only 1 wicket.

India’s start was a little better than Australia but they could not chase Austria’s score. There was a lot of expectation from Rohit Sharma but he could not do well he took time but could not hit a good score and returned to Pavillion after scoring 26 runs in 77 balls comparatively Shubhman Gill impressed and hits a 50 in 101 balls and just followed the Rohit Sharma.

End of the day Scored 96 runs on 2 wickets after playing 45 overs.

Another side Australia two wickets, Hazlewood and Cummins took 1 wicket respectively.

Australia Vs India Day 3

Day 3 was started with India’s best Test Batsman Cheteswar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane but Rahane only could hit 20 runs in 70 balls before going to Pavillion. Hanuma Vihari took place of Ajinkya but he also went back to Pavillion on a score of 3 runs in 38 balls. Rishabh Pant scored 36 runs after playing 67 balls. Cheteswar Pujara stood almost the end of the match and scored 50 runs in 176 balls and went back to Pavillion.

India was all out on a total score of 244 runs after playing 101 overs.

Australian Bowlers did well and took wickets easily and stoped behind the score of Australia by 94 runs. Pat Cummins took 4 wickets which was the most wicket taken by an Australian bowler in 1st inning. Josh Hazelwood and Mitchell Starc took 2 and 1 wicket respectively.

Australia started batting for 2nd inning and lost his first wicket Will Pucovski in 5th over Will Pucovski played 16 balls and score 10 runs. David Warner who did not look fit and lost his wicket in the 9th over on a score of 13 runs in 29 balls.

Australia hits 103 runs after playing  26 over on 2 wickets.

Australia Vs India Day 4

Marnus Labuschagne did well in the 2nd inning also and scored 73 runs in 118 balls before going back. Matthew Wade again disappointed and could score only 4 runs. Steve Smith who scored 131 runs in 1st inning also scored 81 runs in 2nd inning. Steve Smith also saved the Man of the Match Title for this match. Cameron Green who was a duck in the first inning scored 84 runs in 132 balls.

Australia scored 312 runs after losing 6 wickets in 87 overs Australia was leading by 402 runs and they declared the inning.

Indian bowler Ravichandran Aswin and Navdeep Saini 2-2 wickets respectively and Jaspreet Bumrah took one wicket and Mohammad Siraj also took 1 wicket.

India lost his 1st wicket on a total score of 71, Shubhman Gill was caught by Paine on Hazelwood balls. Although Rohit Sharma improved his score and he added 52 runs on the scoreboard.

End of the day 98 runs on 2 wickets after playing 34 overs.

Australia Vs India Day 5

India lost 3rd wicket early in form of Ajinkya Rahane at a score of 4 runs after playing 18 balls. It was looking clear that India would lose the match but Rishabh Pant did that’s nobody expected he scored 97 runs in 118 balls which secured the match in favor of India and lead to the draw. Cheteswar Pujara also scored 77 runs before going back to Pavillion. Ravichandran and Hanuma Vihari lead the match towards the draw and the match was drawn.

Josh Hazelwood took 2 wickets

Nathan Lyon took 2 wickets

and Pat Cummins could take 1 wicket.
